This is the best pop-tart released in the last 10 years.  Forgot the S’more, forget the double chocolate, hell even forget the holy grail, frosted blueberry.  We have a new challenger.  Someone went nutty and put peanut butter inside a Pop-tart.  The result is breakfast pastry perfection.  The outside is a cinnamon and sugar dusted pop tart shell that was tastier than the normal crusty white shell you get with most fruit pop tarts.  Inside was real peanut butter that was creamy and not over sweetened.  I burnt the first pair because my toaster was still set on dark for dark toasts, so I fed those to my dog and he seemed to enjoy them as well after they cooled down a bit.  The Gone Nutty series also comes in Chocolate Peanut Butter.  I almost bought those but thought I’d give normal a chance first and I’m glad I did because they were pretty much perfection and I don’t think chocolate was really necessary to add to the formula.  I ended up double dipping in the end and ate two packs at once, I’m not proud of this but they were just too damn good not to devour.  With any luck these will become a permanent addition to the Pop-tart line and take their place next to Brown Sugar and Strawberry.  Bravo Pop-tart chefs, what will you nutballs think of next?
